I have decided to stop with Project 365. I just think that it isn't helping me get better at photography anymore because it's not "Take a good picture every day", it's "Hurry! Snap a quick picture of Sparky before I go to bed!"
I am still going to post pictures on my blog, because I love sharing pictures with everyone, but I am not going to take anymore Project 365 pictures. I will hopefully get around to posting the rest of June and the most of July's Project 365 pictures soon.
This past week I have been in a place called Llama Casa Grande with my family. It is a double wide trailer, and we stayed in it because we were going to have fun at the Grand Canyon. I can tell you already, I had a great time. The double wide is called Llama Casa because there are llamas that you can go see, pet, and feed. The llamas are about 100 feet away from Llama Casa. I got a few llama pics, and I will be posting at least one on Project 365 when I get the chance.
I also had a fun time at the Grand Canyon! I'm sure that you will be seeing pictures of it on Project 365 also. I am worn out, and glad that I am home.
This one's for grandpa! He wanted me to take a picture of the horseshoe hangers in the barn on Saturday, and this is how the best one turned out. I'm glad that he suggested an angle that would be cool.
First of all, I would like to say that I have a reason why I haven't blogged or posted on Project 365 in a long while. I have had a lot of work to do at school, and in the middle of catching up to the first semester, I think that I couldn't have possibly juggled anything more. So now I am caught up, but I have some sad news. I missed a day on Project 365, March 23. I am still going to continue on Project 365, because the point is not to get all of the days, it is to get better at photography. I just was sad because I still wanted to get all of the days. Oh, well. There's still next year!
Before, there were geese in our backyard. I thought that it was cool whenever they came, but now, they are usual. It's just like seeing a car drive down the street in front of your house: it's not rare to see. They are almost always here whenever I come home from school. I take pictures of them sometimes, and it's pretty fun to see them so regularly!
I thought that 15 geese the other day was a lot. Well, this time there were about 30 geese outside! Yeah, I went outside to take pictures of them this time! I got 30 pictures of the geese, and some of them were as them in mid-flight. Have you've ever seen that Subaru commercial? It's the one about the photographer that sets up everything to take pictures of the birds on the lake, and right when she is ready, the birds fly off. She doesn't even get to take a picture. She just looks at them and smiles, and somehow it relates to the Forester. In most people's minds, it's just another commercial. But in my mind, I think this:
WHY DON'T YOU TAKE THE STUPID PICTURE ALREADY?!? I MEAN, THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN A COOL ONE!!!
Well I just took that picture. I suggest that you go to my Project 365 link, because if you don't, you're seriously missing out. It might not be as cool to you as I made it sound, but to actually take a picture like that in my situation, then it is cool!
I wish I had another battery for my camera. Either that, or I wish that my camera had an option to switch to AA batteries. I missed the chance of taking many a picture of the 15 geese (or at least I think that they were geese) that were at the back of our house. Oh, well...at least I got a few pictures of the three geese that you can see in my Project 365. Well, maybe they'll bring some friends tomorrow.
