From my last post, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!, you could see that I am doing Project 365. Now you can view my pictures that I am going to take throughout the year if you click the link "Project 365" on the right side of my blog, just under the blogroll, under links. I only have a few pictures now, but just wait! In about a month or two, I'll have many pictures! Also it's my brother's birthday today, so...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! One more thing: I got $10 from my grandpa for Christmas, and I decided to buy a protective filter for my camera that I also got for Christmas. I'm having a fun time with my camera, and all of the pictures you see me take for Project 365, will be from my new camera. This will be a fun year!
This is pretty much my Christmas/New Year post. Christmas was very fun. My family didn't go anywhere, we just stayed home and enjoyed it to ourselves. The main thing that I got for Christmas was a new digital camera. It's one of the Panasonic Lumix's. It is so fun! The main functions that I love on it is the image stabilization, the 10 mega pixels, the 18X zoom, and the fact that I also got 2 4GB SD cards! The cool thing is that I have a lot of SD cards. I have a 516MB card, a 2GB card, and now two 4GB cards! I don't think that I could take enough pictures to fill up all of them on a two-week vacation! There is so much memory, so much time....
New Year's Eve was also pretty fun. My dad forgot the confetti guns and shooters, so I improvised. I made a paper cone, took shredded paper from our shredder, and dropped the paper into the cone. Then, I decorated the outside with Sharpie marker. All you do to launch the "confetti" is swing it around. The shredded paper will fly out the big end of the cone! I actually think that, apart from how they didn't make loud noises, they were much better than confetti guns and shooters. Also, we had our favorite New Year's Eve drink, apple cider! My New Year's resolution? Well, actually I don't have one. But I do want to try to work on Project 365 this year. Project 365 is a photography project. You have to take at least one picture every day of the year, hence the name Project 365. Well, I hope that this upcoming year will be a good one for all of us!
